Reve21 President Okamura pays a courtesy visit to the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare

President Okamura expressed his intention to continue contributing to a high quality of life for all patients battling cancer treatment by bringing the hair growth know-how he has cultivated since the company’s founding to the medical field.
He also explained that when it comes to side effects of chemotherapy, the one they most want support for is “hair loss.” He noted that for many cancer patients, changes in appearance cause difficulties in their daily lives, such as at work or school, and make it difficult for them to continue treatment, which causes psychological distress.

President Okamura stated that he is convinced that sustainable medical care will be realized, based on Minister Fukuoka’s understanding of the patient’s perspective and his willingness to share information within the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
